{"id":1935,"date":"2018-12-11T13:39:32","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T12:39:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/?p=1935"},"modified":"2018-12-18T15:40:57","modified_gmt":"2018-12-18T14:40:57","slug":"another-pair-of-jeans-another-mistake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/another-pair-of-jeans-another-mistake\/","title":{"rendered":"Another pair of jeans, another mistake"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I really don&#8217;t know how I&#8217;m making so many mistakes with jeans at the moment &#8211; my first ever pair of denim jeans came out as I expected, but since then my jeans have been going wrong!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First let&#8217;s start with the positives on these\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.winterweardesigns.com\/collections\/womens-patterns\/products\/the-real-deal-jeans-for-women-size-xxs-xxxl\/?aff=52\" target=\"_blank\">Real Deal Jeans<\/a>*. I decided to do some decorative top stitching on the back yoke, and also for the back pockets. The yoke stitching isn&#8217;t overly visible unless you look closely, but that doesn&#8217;t matter as the anchor pattern is quite bold anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1902\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back-2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back-2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1901\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back.jpg 500w, https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-back-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So the back was a definite success, which means the front must have the disaster, right? I don&#8217;t know if it&#8217;s just the way I put the zip in, or if I&#8217;m missing something in the instructions, but the left side is a different height at the waistband to the right-hand side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-front-mess.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1903\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-front-mess.jpg 500w, https:\/\/dragonsflamedesigns.co.uk\/knit\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/anchor-front-mess-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption>This is the same pair of jeans &#8211; I didn&#8217;t use the flash for this photo, so it came out a bit darker than the real shade of blue<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>What seems to happen, is that the zip moves (despite being pinned), and ends up slightly higher on the second side.
